Are you overwhelmed with your home remodel project? Are your contractors organized and keeping you within your budget and on schedule as promised?

It can be a very stressful experience without a professional interior designer on site. As an interior designer, it is my job to make sure things are selected properly and implemented quickly and smoothly so you can relax and take care of your daily tasks and responsibilities. It is my goal to connect the dots, select the perfect color scheme and materials, lay out the design plan, and communicate and coordinate all of the contractors involved.

This creates an overall peaceful experience in a general chaotic environment of any remodel. By this I mean that I handle issues before they arise. I’m not going to lie, remodeling any part of your home is disrupting. But when you have the right interior designer on your team, behind the scenes and on board 24/7, it makes your everyday life easier and less stressful, and the process goes faster so you can get back to your normal everyday life and enjoy your newly remodeled kitchen, bathroom, living space or bedroom.

From the beginning I am the “go-to” person for any issues that may come up so I can handle them and correct them before things are installed incorrectly, causing more time and money spent. I communicate with all of the chosen manufacturers, showrooms, and contractors to ensure that the proper materials are specified, ordered, delivered, and installed on time and correctly the first time. I oversee every step of the design process. By providing project management services a designer adds huge value, therefore the homeowner is given peace of mind in one of their largest investments – updating their home. Because in the end, any type of remodel will add value to your home.

The misconception of hiring an interior designer is that they are too expensive. In reality it is just the opposite. Designers are hired to save you a lot of money. Have you heard the expression, hire me and pay once, do it your self and pay twice? In the long run, having someone like myself to guide you and be sure that you’re making the right decisions the first time around wil be far less expensive than doing things yourself, and then calling me in a panic to come and fix it!! And you would be surprised at how many times that happens?

You cannot afford NOT to hire a professional interior designer. One who is professional, with a degree and credentials – CID (Certified Interior Designer), ASID (American Society of Interior Designers), etc. Do your homework and interview them in person. Personality compatibility is key to be sure you are both on the same page in what you envision. Hiring the right professional interior designer makes all the difference. Be sure the person you hire is credible, has many years of education and experience in the project you are planning and will listen to your ideas, while still guiding you in the best way to do things.
